Thank you for being front and center defending America on the illegal immigration debacle.  I will be out of state rest of the month.  Here is my two cents worth:  We must INSIST upon hearings that inform Americans of the consequences of Bush/Kennedy--the social including cultural impact, crime activity, taxation, burden on already dysfunctional govt schools and hospitals, Medicare, Social Security, and the list goes on.  A bill with such watershed impact on this country needs to be throughly discussed and should be a 2008 issue for the voters.

I suggest that the above be emphasized when people make calls to their reps and others. We can argue about illegality until we are blue in the face, but that is being mostly ignored.
