Mr. Lincoln was everything you claim to hate. He WAS a collectivist, inasmuch as his War turned this nation into a imperial collective rather than a free association of sovereign states as the Founding Fathers gave us, at the cost of the blood of several thousand, North and South. He was an elitist, as he desired to re-patriate the "freed negroes" back to Africa. His home state of Illinois did not permit freemen to settle there.
