Whoa, does Obama think he’s president of the planet? A community organizer from Chicago gets 60 million votes to be the trustee of power in one country for 48 months, so he jets off to the ancient capital of the pharaohs to fix things up with 1.2 billion followers of Muhammad across the globe. Amazing. Obviously he does think that’s what he is, but he’s not, and only bad can come of the man’s wild grandiosity. An “address to the Muslims of the world” by the US chief executive is a terrible idea, no matter what words are said. It reveals again Mr. Obama’s incomprehension of America, natural law, and human nature itself.

Why? We’ll talk about it on this edition of Backbone Radio, along with a full scan of worrisome headlines from the week. These are definitely the times that try men’s souls.

** Stephen Schwartz of the Center for Islamic Pluralism joins me to analyze the presidential speech in Cairo.

** Author Steve Milloy takes us inside his book, “Green Hell: How Environmentalists Plan to Control Your Life,” and James Carafano of the Heritage Foundation talks about their new movie on missile defense, “33 Minutes.”

** Plus commentators Jay Ambrose and Rob Roseman with a Colorado perspective on issues from media bias to the GM takeover.
