Psalm 46:1-11. Concerning this river that gladdens the city of God (verse 4), how would I go about drinking from it or washing in it? What measurable difference could I expect in my life?
Isaiah 66:1-24. That river appears again in verses 9-13, along with imagery of God's motherly tenderness to us. What need of mine, or of a loved one, does that speak to right now?
Revelation 22:12-21. Here yet again is the water of life in verses 17-19, now associated with God's word to us in Scripture. How might I make 2017 a "year of the Bible" for my spiritual growth?
Matthew 25:31-46. In what specific, practical ways (not overstretching) can I take it up a notch this year with the works of mercy commanded here? How can I truly see Jesus' face as I do so?
