Bible Thursday 12/7: Deliver Delight

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 18:1-20. Verse 19 KJV, what is it about God, or about me, that would cause him to delight in me, imperfect as I am? Keeping his delight in mind, how will this be a better day for me?

Psalm 18:21-50. Verse 29 KJV, what wall blocks my way right now, that I need God's help jumping over?

Revelation 11:15-19. Verse 15, what happens when Christ's followers try to rush the process of the world's kingdom becoming his kingdom? Is my church clear on this?

Luke 21:20-28. Important as Jerusalem was to Jesus long ago, and to world leaders this week, what importance does it have for me as a Christian? Do I pray for its peace (Psalm 122:6)?
