Bible Wednesday 5/10: Fear Not

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 119:49-72. When has affliction been good for me (verses 67, 71)? What did I learn? Prayer point for today?

Exodus 17:1-16. When has God assigned me a secondary or supporting role in his purposes (verse 12)? How did that feel? Prayer point for today?

I Corinthians 10:1-12. In verses 7-10 Paul warns us not repeat four mistakes Israel made, "if the shoe fits," so to speak. Do any of them specifically fit me right now? Action to be taken?

John 6:15-21. It's said "Be not afraid" is Jesus' most oft-repeated command (verse 20). How is most applicable in my life right now?
