Bible 11/1: Send Me

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 148:1-14. Verse 14 KJV, who are some saintly people I have known? What can I specifically do today to follow their example?

Isaiah 6:1-13. One of the most dramatic visions of God’s holiness and our sinfulness, in the whole Bible. Verse 8, in what way is God asking me this? What’s involved if I tell him to send me?

Revelation 7:1-17. Verse 14, what does this imagery of the Lamb, the blood, the robe, and the washing have to do in a concrete way with the person I have been and am now?

Matthew 5:1-12. How have I specifically experienced the blessings Jesus promises here? Which beatitude should I more faithfully devote myself to?
