Bible Monday 12/10: Slow Learner

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 25:1-22. Verses 4, 5, 8, 9, 12 KJV keep asking God to teach us. What form does that teaching take for me? What do I most need to learn from him? Why am I a slow learner?

Isaiah 45:1-25. Verses 9, 10, when have I contradicted God or criticized him? What was the outcome?

Revelation 13:1-10. Verse 6, what’s my definition of blasphemy in everyday terms? How does it infiltrate my thought and conduct?

Luke 22:31-38. What is Satan’s plan for me? What is Jesus’ counter-plan for me? How am I, like Peter, to pay it forward?
