Bible Tuesday 5/29: Rise & Walk

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 39:1-13. Verses 1, 3, 9, in what specific way can I improve so that the things I say are never displeasing to God and never harmful to others?

I Samuel 10:1-27. Verses 20-22. When have I tried to evade or hide from my rightful duty to God or other people? What did I learn? Present application?

Acts 3:1-10. When has my request of God been much smaller than what he was prepared to give me? Present application?

John 12:20-26. Verse 22, Andrew is notable for bringing people to Jesus (see also John 1:41 and John 6:8). What makes someone good at this? Who may be ready for me to do this for them?
