Bible Friday 5/11: Makeover

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 85:1-13. Verse 10 KJV, which is naturally stronger in me, mercy or truth, righteousness or peace?  What practical thing can I do today, with God's help, to balance them all?

Ezekiel 41:1-26. Builders would call this a site plan or blueprint. Can I doubt that God's design for remaking my character in his image is just as exact?  Am I fully submitted to that?

Ephesians 4:7-16. Same as both of the above, but here I see Jesus actively in charge of remaking me. Verse 14, what false influence most endangers me? Verse 15, am I better at truth or love?

John 15:9-17. Verse 12, how does this go beyond loving my neighbor as myself or even loving my enemy? Where in my present life can I get busy obeying this?
