Bible Thursday 3/28: Born Free

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 86:1-17. Verse 11 KJV, unite my heart. In what way is my heart divided as regards basic duties— loving God, loving others, and living rightly?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-22. Verses 14-18, fearing God and attending to him. How does this apply to the hardest things I am facing in my life right now?

Galatians 4:21-31. For me or someone I care about, from what bondage do we need God to set us free?

Matthew 20:29-34. Verse 32, the question Jesus asks people again and again. What do I want Jesus to do for me today?
