Bible Wednesday 11/25: A Word in Your Ear

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 69:1-36. Verse 20 KJV, what is causing me heartbreak and heaviness right now? What is God’s remedy?

Isaiah 30:1-33. Verse 21, in what way am I feeling the need for God’s guidance today? What’s involved in attuning my ears to hear that guidance?

Revelation 7:1-8. Verse 3, God’s protective seal in my forehead as awful things approach. How do I know if have this, or how do I get it? When sealed, what can I then expect?

Matthew 23:37-24:2. Related question, aligning my perspective of what’s to come with Jesus’ kingdom perspective, what do I see as permanent and what must I be prepared to part with?
