Bible Thursday 12/3: Best Day

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 84:1-12. Verse 10 KJV, how can I place myself today within God’s courts, God’s house, without ever going near a church building?

Isaiah 38:1-22. Verses 9-20, King Hezekiah’s journal of how God restored him to life. Could I be doing more to put on record God’s dealings with me, so as to learn from them and share them with others?

Revelation 11:1-6. Verse 1, measuring the temple. Is my walk with God a matter of inquiry and exactness, or more a matter of simple childlike faith? Does it matter?

Luke 21:34-38. Verse 36, by what attitudes and actions today can I maintain the watchfulness Jesus expects of me?
