Bible Tuesday 3/3: Attentive

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 4:1-8. Verse 3 KJV, realizing I’ve been set apart by God, what privileges and what obligations are thereby placed on me, in the way I think and act today?

Jeremiah 29:1-32. Verses 4-7. how involved does God want me to be in today’s world, which seems such an unfit place for Christians? Would he have me more involved than I am now, or less?

Romans 11:22-36. Verses 22 and 30, when have I experienced the severity of God? How did it finally reveal his goodness and mercy? Application for today?

Matthew 15:1-20. Verse 19, as Jesus examines my heart right now, which of these evils does he find there in disguised or open form? Action point?
