Bible Saturday 3/28: His Sheep

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 69-1-36. Verse 30, what are some things I can thank and praise God for today, right in the middle of this crisis, without waiting for anything to get better?

Nahum 2:1-13. God dooms Nineveh. What if we find America has lost her way so badly she can never recover the glory days? What would God expect of me and my family and my church at that point? Guidance for today?

I Corinthians 7:1-9. From my experience of marriage, or from observing others’ marriages, what has God taught me about loving Him and loving my neighbor as myself?

John 10:22-42. Verses 26-30, if Jesus is my shepherd and I’m his sheep, safe in his hand, put there by the Father, how does that inform my approach to the pandemic—what to be thinking, what to be doing?
