Bible Tuesday 6/30: Seed of Faith

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 147:1-20. Verses 10 and 11 KJV, what have I done in the past 24 hours that gave God pleasure? What have I done that made him frown?

I Samuel 29:1-11. David narrowly escapes making war on Israel. When have I found myself in the wrong company, facing bad consequences? What did I learn?

Acts 9:23-31. Two plots against Paul’s life. Why does the worldly mind, around the world and now even in America, wish harm or death to Jesus’ followers? Is my church ready for the coming storm? My role?

Mark 4:30-34. In what practical and specific way can I go about planting a tiny seed of kingdom faith in the heart of someone that God will put me in touch with?
