Bible Saturday 9/26: Not Impossible

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 66:1-20. Verse 10, what silver qualities has God brought out in my character by his refining fire? What dross can I still see in myself that I pray he will now burn away?

Job 33:1-33. Verse 4, if every breath I take today is a gift from Almighty God, what does he expect of me in return?

II Corinthians 8:8-24. Verse 9, what exactly are the riches I have through the poverty of Christ crucified? How does he want me to spend or invest that wealth at such a time as this?

Luke 9:10-17. Verse 13, related question, if I listen with obedient faith, what seemingly impossible thing is Jesus asking me to do for him right now?
