Bible Tuesday 10/6: That Good Part

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 90:1-17. Verse 12 KJV, given that we can’t know our exact lifespan, what does it mean to number my days in a way that pleases God? How does it change what I think and do on this day, today?

Haggai 1:1-15. Verses 2-4, how can I orient the entirety of this day more to God’s kingdom purposes and less to my own selfish purposes?

Ezra 3:1-13. Verses 12 and 13, is my church a congregation where tears are few, or one where tears are many? What does that say about us? What does it say about me?

Luke 10:38-42. Is Jesus saying our attitude is going to be all Mary or all Martha, or a mix? If a mix, how can I lean more toward the Mary side today and still accomplish all that I must?
