Bible Tuesday 11/23: Crowned

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 65:1-13. Verse 11 KJV, what are some ways God has crowned us with his goodness during the past year? How can I live out my gratitude to him during this Thanksgiving week?

II Chronicles 32:1-33. Verses 7 and 8, Hezekiah undaunted by the fearsome invader. Have I been using the wrong yardstick to measure my resources for victory in God’s cause?

Malachi 1:9-14. God thunders against the spiritual laziness of his servants. Does this indictment in any way fit me?

Luke 23:13-25. Barabbas freed, Jesus convicted. How does the preference of the masses for rage instead of love make itself felt in our times. What is my church doing about it? My role?
