Bible Saturday 12/4: Walk in Truth

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 86:1-17. Verse 11, what are some ways in which I can walk in God’s truth today?

Esther 6:1-14. Mordecai begins to supplant Haman in the king’s favor, after a night of insomnia. When has something good happened to me by divine appointment, which the world would miscall chance or luck?

Revelation 13:11-18. The land beast: his magic, his terrors, his mark, his number. What’s the thing that most frightens or worries me in our world right now? How can I obtain God’s protection from that?

Matthew 21:33-46. Verse 42, how are people in my church helping each other to build our lives and communities on Jesus as the cornerstone? My role?
