Bible Thursday 4/15: Me Second

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 107:1-43. Verse 9 KJV, how does hunger in the soul differ from hunger in the body? What food does God provide for that? What’s required on my part?

Exodus 4:1-31. How God equips the called. When was I over my head with some challenge, and God showed up for me?

I Corinthians 15:1-11. Why does gospel preaching get pushed to the edges of our Christian life instead of kept at the center? How do things get better when we put it at the center and jealously keep it there?

John 3:22-36. Verse 30, what are some things about me that must decrease, in order for Jesus to increase as my Savior and my Lord?
