Bible Sunday 6/13: Really, Even Them?

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 106:1-48. Verses 8 and 44 KJV, when has God taken a “nevertheless” attitude toward my backsliding and showed me grace and mercy that I didn’t deserve?

Leviticus 20:1-27. Verses 2-5, forbidding the sacrifice of children to the false god Molech. In what form is child sacrifice still practiced today? What is my church doing about it?

Acts 7:17-36. What is one or more godlike qualities of Moses that I can pray to express more fully today?

Mark 2:13-17. What are some kinds of people that I make a point of avoiding, but whom Jesus might seek out and befriend if he were here? Action point?
