Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 19:1-14. Verses 12 and 13, as best I can tell, where are the blind spots in my self-knowledge and my relationships? What shall I ask God to do about it today?
Exodus 28:1-43. Aaron’s priestly vestments. How does God want me to “clothe” myself today so that I’m fit to approach him in all his holiness?
I Corinthians 9:1-10. Who is doing ministry and carrying a burden, that might need my help, support, or encouragement today? Action point?
John 8:37-47. Verse 44, Satan’s work of lust, lies, and murder. How might he try to attack me, my family, my church, and my community today? What is my defense?
