Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 24:1-10. Verse 3, if I devote this day to climbing up the hill of the Lord, what would that look like? What attitudes and actions are involved?
Exodus 32:1-35. The golden calf, Aaron’s failure, Moses’ anger. What are some ways in which I might be led to worship the creation instead of the Creator today?
Acts 1:1-14. Verse 8, what specific opportunity can I find today to be a witness for Jesus Christ crucified, risen, ascended, reigning, and soon to return?
Luke 24:44-53. Verse 45, why do I need Jesus to help me understand the Bible? How shall I go about obtaining his help?
