Bible Wednesday 7/7: Bad Chemistry

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 18:1-50. Verse 19 KJV, what is there about me that God delights in? Does he value me more highly than I value myself? How shall I show him my gratitude today?

Numbers 17:1-13. God shows which of the twelve tribes will be his priests. What guidance or answer do I need today from this never-failing God?

Acts 15:1-11. What burdensome yoke do I tend to place upon myself in following Jesus, over and above grace alone?

Mark 8:11-21. Verses 19 and 20, when has Jesus given me not just enough but more than enough? Did I use that surplus in a way that glorified him?
