Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 91:1-16. Verse 12, in what way might I stumble today, if not careful? How will I be upheld by angels, if I pray God to send them?
I Chronicles 13:1-14. Verses 9-11, when have I rashly overreached and gotten in God’s way? What was the result? Present application?
Ephesians 1:1-14. Verse 10, gathering in one all things in Christ. In my life and in our world, what is divided and antagonistic that I can ask God to reconcile and reunite?
Luke 12:1-12. Verse 7, God cares about every hair on my head. What details that have I been treating as too small or unimportant to bother him with, shall I lay before my Father today?
