Bible Friday 9/10: Germinating or Stagnating?

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 26:1-12. Verse 2 KJV, when I ask God to examine me and he does so, how are the exam results made known to me? What’s my obligation to him at that point? Shall I tackle this today?

Judges 8:1- 35. Verse 24, Gideon refuses the kingship. What specific steps of self-denial does God want me to take, in order that his authority may reign supreme in me?

II Corinthians 7:13-8:7. Generosity of the Christians in Macedonia. How can my church better glorify God with its finances? How can I do so with my own finances?

Luke 8:4-15. In my recent times of study and prayer, what seed has Jesus placed in my heart so it can take root and bear fruit? Is that seed at present germinating or stagnating?
