Bible Wednesday 9/8: Fearless

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 23:1-6. Verse 4, what valley of shadow am I walking through at present? In what way am I receiving courage and comfort from God?

Judges 6:1-40. God summons Gideon for mighty deeds. What is God’s unique commission to me right now, something no one else but me can carry out?

I I Corinthians 6:11-7:1. Verses 4 and 7 KJV, how does the warning against being yoked with unbelievers apply to me? Who or what must I separate from in order to draw nearer God?

Luke 7:36-50. Verses 40-42, has God forgiven me a huge debt, or not all that much? Is my show of gratitude to Jesus very demonstrative, or more reserved?
