Bible Monday 2/7: Three Amigos

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 92:1-15. Verses 1-3, how do music and singing glorify God in a way the spoken or written word can’t do? What do they add to my spiritual nourishment? Action point for today?

Ecclesiastes 4:1-16. Verses 9-12, what persons has God placed in my life so that we can be for each other a threefold cord? How can I thank and bless those individuals today?

Romans 2:17-29. Verses 21-24, when have I been a hypocrite, such as a to give Christianity a bad name? How did God pull me through that? Present application?

Matthew 11:7-19. Verses 16 and 17, what does Jesus want from me as his disciple, instead of childish mood swings? What’s been on my mind lately, that I could use as a place to start?
