Bible Thursday 2/10: Reset

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 104:1-35. Verse 15, bread, oil, wine, all ours from the same generous Giver. Am I as grateful to God as I should be, for everything I have to eat and drink?

Ecclesiastes 7:1-29. Verses 2-4, how has God used sorrow and sadness to make me a better person? Present application?

Romans 3:21-31. Verse 23, if I could talk this over with Paul, and insist to him that a lot of people are worse sinners than I am, what would he say? Action point?

Matthew 12:1-8. Verse 7, by this yardstick of what the Father and the Son want from each of us (quoting Hosea 6:6), what adjustment of priorities should I be making in 2022?
