Bible Monday 6/13: Name above All Names

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 106:1-48. Verse 44, nevertheless. When has God looked at my wanton unfaithfulness to him, sighed, and given me a second chance anyway? How can I repay that today?

I Samuel 7:1-17. Verse 12, related question, if I was to set up one or more Ebenezer stones (historical markers) for God’s mighty help to me, what events would they commemorate?

Acts 4:1-12. Verse 12, the one and only name whereby we must be saved. Who needs to hear the salvation message of Jesus from me this week?

John 19:14-24. The King of Kings, crucified. How will the people I come in contact with today know (or suspect) that Jesus is enthroned in my heart, other than by my speaking of it?
