Bible Friday 11/24: Darkness on Calvary

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 68:1-35. Verses 5 and 6, today how can I become an instrument of God’s provision for people who are lonely, vulnerable, and disadvantaged?

II Chronicles 32:1-33. Verses 24-26, King Hezekiah repents of his pride and ingratitude. What repentance is God waiting for me to express as this year comes to a close?

Revelation 9:13-21. Verse 20, what false gods am I sometimes tempted to worship? What may befall me as a result?

Luke 23:39-56. Two thieves crucified with Jesus. How much importance do I really place on the Lord’s invitation to be with him in paradise? What’s to be done?
