Bible Tuesday 12/26: Sing Out, Christian

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 137:1-9. Verses 4-6, which shall I listen to today, the broken world saying this isn’t how Christmas is supposed to be, or Jesus saying “Be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”?

Micah 6:1-16. Verse 8, in the coming year of 2024, what practical steps can I take to live each day with more justice, more mercy, and more humility, by God’s grace?

Acts 6:8-7:60. If I were called, like Stephen, to testify in a high court about why I follow Jesus, what are the key points I would try to make?

John 15:18-16:4. If I felt the Father was calling me to put myself more in the line of fire for the world’s hatred of his Son, what would that actually look like?
