Bible Saturday 3/4: Faith Moves Mountains

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 5:1-12. Verse 11, for me as a Christian, does joy just happen or is it a choice? Is the joy of the Lord a voluntary or involuntary condition?

Proverbs 10:1-32. Solomon’s wisdom about how the godly or ungodly person uses the spoken word. How can I put this into practice today?

Romans 10:1-21. Verses 9-13, do I know someone who is almost ready to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord? Shall I take the matter up with them today or very soon?

Matthew 17:14-21. Verse 20, why have my prayers never yet moved a mountain? Verse 17, is Jesus disappointed in me, a faithless and perverse disciple?
