Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 36:1-12. Verse 8 KJV, what are some of the pleasures I find in God, contrasted with pleasures of the world? How can I partake of those, today?
Exodus 37:1-29. Bezaleel’s magnificent, meticulous workmanship for God’s glory. What does the Lord specially want me to be making for him in this chapter of my life? How is it coming?
I Corinthians 14:20-25. In commanding me to gather at church with other believers, what does God intend that I should get by so doing? What does he intend that I should give?
John 10:22-30. Verse 28, in receiving eternal life from Jesus the Good Shepherd, is that something I can experience right now, or only when I die? If available now, how does it make today different for me?
