Bible Friday 7/21: Infinite Possibilities

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 55:1-23. Verse 22, what burden have I been trying to carry on my own, when right here is God’s offer to carry it for me, starting this minute?

Numbers 34:1-29. Like a master surveyor, God lays out the exact borders of the Promised Land that Israel is to inherit. Is there a worry I should bring him today so all details of the “unknown” can be shown me?

Acts 19:21-41. What false worship enthralls America today, as Diana-worship enthralled the Ephesians? What is my church doing to break that idolatry in Jesus’ name?

Mark 10:23-31. Verse 23, what’s the bargain, the value proposition in following you, Peter asks Jesus. What makes me so sure the riches of Christ are beyond the net worth of Musk or Bezos?
