Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 90:1-17. Verse 4, God transcends time and rules over it. By what godly attitudes and actions can I reduce time’s tyranny over me today?
Jeremiah 4:1-31. Verses 4, 14, 22, clean up your act, warns God to his people. What is my church doing about this? In what specific way does the accusing finger point at me?
Romans 1:1-17. Verse 16, not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. How can I fulfill this a little better today than I did yesterday?
Matthew 12:46-50. If each of us by doing the will of the Father can be accepted by Jesus as his brother or sister, exactly how is that going to look as I go through this typical day?
