Bible Friday 12/20: The Daily Seven

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 119:129-176. Verse 164, does my prayer life with God follow a set pattern every day, or does it vary by circumstances? Is seven times a day better than one—or not as good as 17?

Isaiah 55:1-13. Verses 8-11, what would it look like for God’s word to yield a great harvest in my life during the coming year of 2025? How can I get my willful expectations out of the way so his purpose can prevail?

I Thessalonians 2:13-20. Verses 14-16, what is my church doing about the worsening persecution of Jesus and the gospel, not only abroad but right here at home?

Mark 13:21-27. If Jesus returns today, ,what do I want hm to find me doing?
