Bible Sunday 12/8: Mary Says Yes

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 97:1-12. God commands rejoicing in all the earth, all the time. If rejoicing became the “default position” of my thoughts and words day by day, how would others notice?

Isaiah 43:1-28. Verse 19, God does a new thing. How can I recognize this when I see it? How can I do my part? Is it occurring even now, this very day?

Revelation 15:1-8. What’s now expected of me in the kingdom, having gotten victory over the beast through the Lamb and through Moses?

Luke 1:26-38. Mary says yes to God. In my own walk with the Lord, what yes-or-no crossroads looms before me right now?
