Bible Monday 1/20: With One Touch

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 51:1-19. Verses 10-12, what would it specifically look like for God to begin this work of renewal and restoration in me today?

Genesis 20:1-18. Abraham’s “white lie” causes big problems. When have I acted as though the rules don’t apply to me? What did I learn?

Hebrews 8:1-13. What’s the benefit to me here and now in God having made a new covenant with his people through Jesus Christ? What shall I ask of Jesus as our heavenly high priest?

Matthew 9:18-26. Jesus with one touch heals a woman nearly dead and a young girl recently dead. How can I obtain his all-powerful touch on a critical situation in my life right now?
