Bible Tuesday 3/4: Return Good for Evil

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 5:1-12. Verse 3, how can I make better use of the time I spend with God each morning? First step today?

Hosea 13:1-16. Verses 9-11, are God’s people today repeating the mistake of ancient times, placing too much reliance on earthly rulers and too little reliance on Him?

Romans 9:14-29. Verse 27, a remnant shall be saved. If I’m here today as part of God’s remnant at this specific place and time in history, what’s expected of me? What resources and tools are given me to work with?.

Matthew 5:38-48. What specific occasion is Jesus giving me today to love my enemies and pray for those who spite me?
