Bible Tuesday 3/11: Fruitful or Barren?

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 25:1-22. Verse 9, by what thoughts and actions can I express the meekness God requires of me today?

Proverbs 6:1-35. Verses 16-19, seven things God hates. It’s obvious how these apply to other people—but how do they apply to me, right now today?

Romans 12:1-8. Verse 2, during my years of following Jesus, in what specific ways has he transformed me by the renewing of my mind? What’s the next stage of that renewal Jesus is bringing about?

Matthew 7:13-23. What good fruit is Jesus expecting me to bring forth today, as a result of walking with him, obeying and imitating him?
