Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 126:1-6. Verse 6, what situation have I wept over, sorrowfully planting seeds for God, that I continue trusting he will turn into a joyous harvest?
Exodus 6:1-30. Moses unable to prevail with Pharaoh or even with his own people. What is the toughest battle I’ve ever had with discouragement? How did God show up?
I Corinthians 15:20-34. Verse 22, what is my heritage from Adam, destined for death? How can I enter into fellowship with Christ today and be made alive in him? Will others notice?
John 20:1-10. Related, was there ever a time when I broke fellowship with Jesus, like Peter on the eve of the crucifixion? Who needs to hear my testimony of being restored?
