Bible Saturday 11/25: Zaccheus

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 108:1-13. Verse 13 KJV, what does "valiantly" mean here? What is its opposite? How do I measure up? In what specific ways can I do valiantly in serving and representing God today?

II Chronicles 36:1-23. Verses 15-16, what modern examples have I seen of God's warnings repeatedly ignored and disaster ensuing? What does this require of the individual Christian?

Revelation 5:1-14. Jesus hailed as both Lion and Lamb. Is this personally real to me, or just poetic symbolism? What difference does it make in my life? Explain to a non-believer?

Luke 19:1-10. If Jesus asked to be my houseguest today, what changes of thought and behavior would I hasten to make?
