Bible Tuesday 1/2: Partakers

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 34:1-22. Verse 4, what fears loom over me right now, that I'm asking God to deliver me from?

Deuteronomy 5:1-33. Repeats the Ten Commandments from Exodus 20. How am I on taking God's name in vain? On keeping the Sabbath? On coveting? Where am I weakest?

Hebrews 3:12-19. Verse 13 KJV, "exhort one another daily." How practical is this, even with those closest to me? Can I winsomely give and receive frank Christian counsel?

John 1:35-51. Verse 51, how might this day be different if I could see Jesus as a ladder between me and heaven, by whom angels go back and forth?
