Bible Friday 3/24: Counter-Terror

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 91:1-16. Verse 5 (KJV) specifically promises us God's protection from terror. The whole psalm develops that promise.  And Spurgeon adds this. How shall I integrate a counter-terror watch into my daily prayers?

Ecclesiastes 5:1-20.  How can verses 1 and 2 help me be more reverent, receptive, eager, and submitted next time I am in church?  Where do I tend to fall short?

Galatians 1:11-24. Here is the opening passage of the first spiritual autobiography ever written by a follower of Jesus.  What are the peaks and valleys of my spiritual autobiography? Action point?

Matthew 19:1-12. What is my church doing to embrace everyone, everyone, in Jesus' loving doctrine of marriage and singleness for the people of God? Action point?
