Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalm 31:1-24. Verse 15, how can I trustingly put my times in God's hand today,, resigning to him any concern about too much or too little time, too soon or too late?
Numbers 19:1-22. What's unclean in me that needs to be made clean today? How will God accomplish this? How important is it to me?
Acts 15:12-21. Here the early church averts a schism as godly men put Scripture ahead of self-will. How bad is the schism among Christians today? What's my church doing about it? Prayer point?
Mark 8:1-10. Verse 6, why did Jesus give thanks ahead of the miracle? What's the lesson here for me?
