Bible Friday 9/29: Mysteries

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalm 91:1-16. Verses 12-13, what little stone might trip me up today? What roaring fear might scare me? What hissing lie might deceive me? How does God counter each of these?

I Chronicles 8:1-40. Verse 35, here after hundreds of lesser names we find Saul, destined to be Israel's first king. Cannot such a God lead me to the saving needle in any daunting haystack?

II Corinthians 5:12-21. Verse 17, in what specific way has Christ made me new? Prayer point? Action point?

Luke 8:4-10. Verse 10 KJV, what mysteries of the kingdom of God do I know? How does that bless me today? How does it equip me to bless others?
