Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?
Psalms 11:1-7. Verse 5 KJV, in what way has God tried me, recently or even now? How did I benefit? What’s then expected of me?
Nehemiah 3:1-32. Honor roll of the wall-builders. Who are some of my fellow laborers in kingdom work, through our church or other ministries, that I should thank God for today?
Galatians 3:1-14. Verse 1 KJV, who or what would seek to bewitch me away from Jesus Christ, if I allow it? What is God’s remedy?
Luke 8:19-25. Verse 25, how I am at present discouraged, doubtful, or fearful, such that Jesus would sadly ask, “Where is your faith?” Where IS my faith?
