Bible Sunday 11/11: Unseen Goodness

Studying this morning's four readings from the St. James Daily Devotional Guide (click to subscribe), I examined myself with these questions. Where is your self-examination leading today?

Psalms 96:1-13. Verse 9 KJV, what are some examples of the beauty of holiness that I saw yesterday or will see today? How can I display the beauty of holiness this week?

Isaiah 16:1-14. More of Moab’s woes. Verse 6, what expressions of pride are present in me, displeasing God? Prayer point?

I Thessalonians 4:9-18. What can I do today to be better prepared for Jesus’ return?

Luke 13:10-21. Verse 21, amidst all the turmoil, where can I discern the kingdom of God working unseen goodness like hidden yeast? What is my church’s role? My role?
